Boys & Girls Club Summer Camp (June 1 - August 12)

The perfect way for your child to spend their summer! Registraiton will be by the week only and is limited to only 60 participants per week to wnsure te health and safety of campters, staff, and the community.

Camp is specifically programmed for children entering K-5th grades. Breakfast, Lunch & Snack are provided daily!

Early Engineers (July 13 - July 17) - Cancelled

Early Engineers is a building-based program that helps kids connect science with things they love...like LEGOS, K'Nex, solar kits and CitiBlocs.  We will discuss key terms in science and build various projects that incorporate the key terms.  The goal is to help kids realize that science can be a lot of fun!

Masks are required for this camp.

This program will be held at our Gilmore Senior Center at 990 Lassen Lane in El Dorado Hills.

 

 

Firefly Art (July 13 - July 17) - Cancelled

Firefly Art is a drawing-based program. Our projects are crafted carefully to incorporate variety and fun for all ages. We use many different varieties of paint media, mixed media and projects to make it exciting, educational and also create the right amount of challenge for our students.

Masks are required for this camp.

Paint and a Splash: Amazing Animal Kingdom (July 20 - July 23) - Cancelled

Yes you can complete a painting in a two hours! The step-by-step instructions will have you creating your own artwork on canvas that you can hang on a wall or give as a gift. You will have fun while the instructor guides you through the painting session using acrylics.  All materials are included.

Preregistration is required. Masks are required for this camp.

This program will be held at our Gilmore Senior Center at 990 Lassen Lane in El Dorado Hills.

 

Fashion Camp (July 27 - July 31) - Cancelled

All levels welcome.  Each session will include design from original inspiration, fashion sketching, machine sewing and presentation.

Masks are required for this camp.

Please bring a $35 material fee to the first meeting payable to the instructor: Jaleh Naasz.

Intro to Fashion & Graphic Design: Grades 1st-5th
Branding, logo design, concept board, original artwork creation and working with a local company to print designs on a self-sewn mask and tote bag to rock all summer long.

Intro to Sustainable Fashion & Alterations: Grades 6th-12th
Concept building, designing a sustainably inspired collection and up-cycling worn garments using sewing and common alteration techniques.  Students will leave with a basic understanding of sewing techniques, be able to hem garments and have a smart and sustainable collection designed for the new world.

These classes will be held at the Gilmore Senior Center located at 990 Lassen Lane in El Dorado Hills.
