Adult Sports

The El Dorado Hills Community Services District offers adult sports year-round, depending on the season. Leagues are for adults, ages 18+ and include game balls, certified officials and awards for league champions. Registration is limited in the number of teams per league on a "first-come, first-served" basis. Once maximum numbers are reached, registration closes. Registration may not be available online for all activities. To register, please call 916-933-6624 or visit our office at 1021 Harvard Way in El Dorado Hills.

Learn rules, scoring, strategy, terminology, court courtesy and actual game play.

Bocce Ball Strategies

Ages 13 & up • $35 • 11am-12:30pm
Refine your skills in blocking, lag, bumping, and shooting. Get the big picture on the court to know what strategies to use and how to execute them.

Practice to Win

Ages 13 & up
Who likes losing? You’ve heard the adage “Practice Makes Perfect” now learn how to organize practice sessions that will translate into improved play and hopefully victories in matches. Topics include: setting your line-up and order of play, team chemistry, seeing verses perceiving match situations, practice drills, player communication and critiquing each player or team in a simulated game. Pickleball is played on a badmiton size indoor court and primarily played with a partner. The game is fast paced, and a great cardio workout. Our facility is air conditioned, very welcoming and everyone loves teaching "newbies" the sport.
Loner paddles and balls provided or feel free to bring your own!

Pickleball Lessons

Learn the rules of pickleball, techniques for executing shots involving serves, returns, volley, dinks and strategies. Both beginner and intermediate lessons available.

Ages 14+ (Younger OK if with an adult)
“Seize the Day” and leave your worries and fears behind you! This small group class is the easiest way for anyone to try kayaking. Our stable kayaks and experienced instructors will show you how simple, safe and fun kayaking really is. Did you know that kids and women usually pick it up the quickest? Bring a friend and make a great day of it exploring the Lake’s hidden spots and learning the basics of how to be under your own power on the water.

Sunset/Full Moon Paddles
Ages 14+ (Younger OK if with an adult)
Glide across the water of Lake Natoma beneath the fascinating light and shadows of the setting sun and rising moon. Except for the sounds of animals and birds settling down at twilight, you’ll have the stillness of the lake to yourself. Introductory skills session and equipment provided.

Kayaking for Boomers
Ages 50+
Adventure and exploration aren't just for teenagers! Kayaking is great for fitness and easy on the body. These stress-free paddles are the new activity of choice for baby boomers and beyond!
