Join us in exploring the wonderful world of theater.  This program has been developed to assist those with special needs in learning how to focus, speech, reading skills, following directions, using their voice along with being physically creative with their movements, stage presence.  They learn to work with others in a group setting and gain an incredible confidence in themselves.  In the long run you will see a transformation of your child at home and in the community.

Jonathan Reis, who is a Recreation Therapist and a professional actor, has been working with the speical needs population for over 10 years.  He started this theatre program for those with special needs up in Washington, with great success.  There the group put on musicals such as Beauty and the Beast, Peter Pan and Mary Poppins.  He is anxious to bring this wonderful program to our community.  This fall we will be working on a Holiday performance and possibly on Disney piece with the performance in early December.  Instructors will assess kids if needed.
