ADULT SPORTS LEAGUE INFORMATION
Unless otherwise noted, leagues are for ages 18+ and include equipment,
game balls, certified officials, and awards for league champions.
Registraton is on a first come first serve basis
with a limited number of teams per league.

Have a great time exploring where only
a kayak (and our guides) can take you!
Designed as the first step in learning to
paddle touring and sea kayaks, beginners
learn about proper equipment selection
and fit, along with basic safety and
paddling techniques. After an initial skills
session, tour the lake to refine your skills.
All equipment is provided. Please bring a
snack or lunch.

Join the adult 3x3 basketball league for
Wednesday night games in the CSD Gym.
The Fall League begins in September and
the Winter League immediately following
in November. The league does not use
officials or supply balls, but winning teams
receive championship t-shirts.

Fall means football. Join the newly formed
adult flag football league and enjoy the
sport without the physical contact. Teams
play Sundays at Promontory Community
Park. Teams provide their own jerseys and
ball, league fees provide referee, scorekeeper,
linesman and championship
t-shirts for winning team.

Newly added for fall is a Women’s Softball
League. This first season is played at
McCabe Field, but will move to Promontory

Sunday afternoon games are played in the
CSD Gym for an action packed 5x5 league.
Teams play seven weeks followed by
playoffs for the top four teams. Champions
receive t-shirts for their victory.

Ages 18 - Adult
Bocce ball is the fastest growing sport in
America! Anyone can learn to play regardless
of age or physical ability.
This workshop will cover rules, scoring,
strategy, terminology, court courtesy and
actual playing. Learn to play in a short
time, but enjoy a lifetime of playing! The
instructor is a former member of Campo Di
Bocce in Los Gatos where he won several
team and tournament championships, he
also placed 3rd in the US Team Bocce Ball
Tournament!

Ages 18 & up
Designed for the player who is knowledgeable
of the rules and has played
some bocce, but needs additional
instruction on blocking, lag, bumping,
and shooting (when to and when not
to). Get the big picture on the court to
determine what strategies to use and
how to execute them. Instructor may
also play with students so as to critique
them as well as create simulated situations
to assist them in becoming decision
makers and players. Court drills may
be utilized.

Bocce Ball league play is for the relaxation
and enjoyment of both players
and spectators. Each team must have a
minimum of four players, with an 8 person
maximum. At least 4 players must
be present for each game. A total of 8
teams per night can be accommodated.

Keep the good times going and rekindle
your talents of yester-year by playing in
this 45+ for men and 40+ for women
coed softball league. Games are played
at Promontory Community Park on
Monday evenings for eight weeks.

Earn your PADI Open Water Scuba
Certification with the trained professionals
of Dive Ventures. The class consists
of three sections; academic home study
and classroom review, pool skill sessions
and open water dives. All equipment is
provided for the wataer portion of the
class. Four open water dives,m with the
last two dives off the Dive Ventures boat.
