This beautiful facility is owned and maintained by El Dorado County, who

El Dorado Hills Senior Center offers many classes including drawing, watercolor, line dance, digital photography, cooking, wreath making, chair exercise, etc. Also, guest speakers speak on senior related topics.

Seniors can call Dial-A-Ride and make arrangements for
transportation to the Senior Center and personal appointments.

Monthly Tea Dance
Usually held the last Friday of each month following Senior Nutrition lunch
(1 pm), these special dances feature the live music of the El Dorado Hills Fun Time Band. Kick up your heels, or just sit and enjoy your musical favorites as you are entertained by this energetic group of local senior musicians. Call the Senior Center to confirm dates, as schedules may vary.

Senior Nutrition Program
El Dorado County’s Department of Human Services provides excellent meals for a reasonable donation of only $2.50 for seniors age 60 and over, and $4 for those under 60. Lunch is served Monday through
Friday at 12 noon in the Garden Cafe. Closed on major holidays.
Call 358-3562 between 11am and 1pm for the current menu.

Free Walking Club
Wear comfortable clothing and walking shoes! Walking club starts at the CAB Conference Room. Enjoy exercising by participating with others.
Days: M/W/F 8am (7:30am beginning 6/1)
Location: Meets at the CSD Gym
(Not held at Senior Center)

Fun Bingo
Join friends two days a week after Senior Nutrition lunch for Fun Bingo. This popular game has been a longstanding tradition for El Dorado Hills Seniors for many years.

HICAP Health Insurance Counseling & Advocacy Program
Volunteers are available at the EDH Senior Center the 1st Friday of the
month for health insurance issues. Call (530) 621-6150 to schedule an appointment.

SENIOR LEGAL ASSISTANCE
Second Tuesday of each month in El Dorado Hills Call (530) 621-6154
to schedule an appointment.

BLOOD PRESSURE CHECKS
Mercy Hospital’s Auxiliary volunteers provide service on the 2nd Thursday
of each month at 11:30am.

Group Leaders and Instructors Needed
If you have a special talent or hobby we need you at the Senior Center!!
Maybe you’re talented in art, photography, cooking, dance or really enjoy a certain game. The CSD is looking for people to teach educational and recreational activities and programs, or lead discussion groups. Call 358-3575 for more information.
