Marshall Splash Zone
Sunday 12-4:00pm (Until September 25th)
Thanks to a generous donation from Marshall Medical Center, we are able to bring a dynamic Inflatable Obstacle Course to the community pool. The Inflatable will be available on Monday, Wednesday and Friday evenings and for Sunday Recreation Swim. We invite you to experience the adventure in the Marshall Splash Zone!

Masters Swim Program

usms logoThe CSD is now home of NorCal Masters, US Masters Swim Program for adult swimmers. To be an active member in this program go to to register under the NorCAL Masters Club. Our goal is to help you achieve your swimming and fitness goals. Join us for more expert coaching, technique instruction, camaraderie and much more. Our coaches and instructors teach Swim Lessons, Adult Fitness Swimming, Competitive Swimming, Open Water Swimming, Triathlon Swimming. Fee $40/month, $5 drop-in (US Masters Membership is seperate.) Ages 18+

Fitness & Master's Lap Swim

A great full body workout! Create your own or follow the Master’s workout. Pull buoys & kickboards are available for use. Master’s coach will be on deck Monday and Wednesday. 



Junior Water Polo Clinic 

Ages 8-12 • $145/8 classes 
Sunday, August 21-October 16 • 9:45am-11:45am Registration
This program includes introductory instruction on how to play the game of water polo. The group will be split up into teams that will play over the 8 week period. Instructor: Coach Patrick Foster

swim universityThe Aquatics Team is certified to teach Swim Lessons University, a lesson program based on the technical progression of the swimmer, while educating them on proper water safety practices. All swimmers will be issued a brightly colored bracelet that not only serves as recognition of each childs’ progress, but communicates the skill level of each swimmer to lifeguards, instructors and parents.

CSD Community Pool staff is committed to educating the community that drowning is preventable by following the Safer 3 Method. Safer Water! Safer Kids! Safer Response! This philosophy is implemented through the District’s swim lesson programs, special pool events, and recreational swim. Please visit the website www. or ask CSD staff for more information.  

Helpful Hints for Swim Lesson Registration

  • Please make sure you select the appropriate level below for your child. Call 933-6624 for assistance or email
  • It is recommended that children repeat the last level they completed the previous summer. Most children remain in the same level for two or more sessions.
  • Please make sure your child has a swim suit, towel and plenty of sun block! Children in diapers are required to wear a swim diaper (available for purchase at the pool)
  • Goggles and swim caps can be worn.

Group Swim Lessons

Monday through Thursday for 2 Weeks (8 Classes) • $70
Each class 30 minutes.

Private Swim Lessons

Monday to Thursday for 1 Week (4 Classes) • $95
Each class 30 minutes
Class is ideal for youth ages 3 years+ and adults who want or require one-on-one instruction, or are not comfortable in a group setting. Staff will tailor instruction to the specific needs of the student.

Last Chance Swim Lessons

Monday to Thursday for 1 Week (4 Classes)

These one-week swim lessons are your last chance to get quality instruction before the season comes to an end so don’t miss out! Lessons are held during recreation swim.
Session A: Aug 15-19

Basic Sailing

Ages 12+ • $165/4 sessions
Designed for those with little or no sailing experience. The 14 hour course covers boating safety, knots, rigging and sailing theory. On the water skills such as boat handling, docking, sail trim and capsize recovery will be taught on Holder 14 sailboats. Upon successful completion of this course graduates are eligible to rent Holder 14’s. This class follows the guidelines set by US Sailing.


Summer Schedule & Registration
Ages 12+ • $190/4 sessions
For those with little or no experience and will familiarize the student with the basic fundamentals of windsurfing. This class covers rigging, terminology, balance, stances and sailing theory. Instructors will utilize the latest techniques and a variety of sail sizes to decrease fatigue and help accelerate learning. Upon successful completion of this course, students will be eligible to rent these windsurfers.

Stand Up Paddling - SUP

Ages 10+ • $45
Designed for those that have little or no experience paddling, our group SUP class are designed using ACA level one requirements, which introduce and expose beginning paddlers to the skills, equipment and knowledge that is needed to become a successful paddle boarder. We also challenge the more advanced paddlers wanting to improve their techniques on the water.

Water Ski & Wakeboard Class

Ages 9+ • $70
Designed for the beginner, who has never skied or wakeboarded, to the advance who wishes to improve on technique or break bad habits. Trick skiing, kneeboarding and bare-footing can also be covered during this lesson. Equipment will be provided but students may bring their own if they prefer.


Kayaking at Lake Natoma

Sunset/Full Moon Paddles

Glide across the water of Lake Natoma beneath the fascinating light and shadows of the setting sun and rising moon. Except for the sounds of animals and birds settling down at twilight, you’ll have the stillness of the lake to yourself.
