Are You 50 Yet? Join us anytime! This beautiful facility is owned and maintained by El Dorado County, who collaborates with the CSD to provide recreational programming and activities for adults age 50 and up. This unique partnership serves seniors throughout the county.

Do you have a special talent or skill you would like to share with Seniors? Many Seniors themselves are a wealth of knowledge. We invite you to come share your experience and wisdom. Call us to request a Program Proposal form. We would love to have you on our team!
Need A Ride? Call Dial-A-Ride to make arrangements for transportation to the Senior Center and personal appointments. Sac-Med Transport is also available for doctor appointments in Sacremento on Tuesday and Thursdays. Both services are available at (530) 642-3696
Senior Center Orientation

New to the area? Never been to our Senior Center? Age 50 and up? Join us for an intorductory "talk and tour." We offer great programs, classes, events, lunches and socialization opportunities. Join us for refreshments and see what we have to offer. We think there's something for everyone! No membership fee! Reservations are a must - please call (916)358-3575 by Monday that week.
Visit the Senior Center Library/Computer
The The Senior Center has MANY books available. There is no formal check out system, just come find books you like and take them! We also have a limited number of movies (yes, some are VCR!). If you have books and movies to donate– let us know. The library also has a computer with a large screen for Seniors to use at their convenience. All you have to do is ask staff for the password and the world of computing opens up. Wi-fi is available throughout the Center.

Senior Nutrition Lunch
El Dorado County’s Senior Nutrition Program offers excellent meals for a reasonable donation of only $3 for seniors age 60 and over, and $5 for those under 60. Lunch is served Monday through Friday at 12 noon in the Garden Cafe at the Senior Center. Closed major holidays. The menu is available online or call (916) 358-3562 11am-1pm, for menu.
Senior Day Care Program
The El Dorado County's Senior Day Care program is now located in the rear portion of the Senior Center. 'Members' can enjoy activities, make friends, increase their mental and physical functioning, and increase their sense of worth. For additional information call (916) 358-3560 or visit www.edcgov.us.

Grab Bar Installations and More
Falls are the leading cause of fatal and nonfatal injuries for seniors. Most falls are preventable. Safe At Home is a local, volunteer-based program that provides grab bars and other home safety measures for seniors and disabled residents. Equipment and installation are free to those with qualifying incomes and reasonable for everyone else. Senior Classes & Activities
El Dorado Hills Senior Center offers several classes with online registration and other classes and activities that just need you to call the Senior Center to hold a spot and show up! Activities include drawing, watercolor, line dance, digital photography, cooking, wreath making, chair exercise, and so many more! Also, guest speakers speak on senior related topics, including: scam alerts, current events, legal matters, health & wellness, etc.
