Have you always wanted to create your very own scarecrow? Here’s a chance to let your imagination run wild! There is NO entry fee, and you can use supplies scavenged from your closet, garage, barn or shed. Borrow Grandpa’s old straw hat, maybe Grandma’s old apron, even the dog’s bandana… just be sure to ask first! Youth groups, classrooms, service clubs, organizations, families, individuals and businesses are invited to participate. Entry Deadline: WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 28

*After mandatory pre-bidder’s job walk sign in there will be a brief overview of the project and bidding process. After this presentation all parties will depart to the job site for additional important details.

El Dorado County Transportation Commission is embarking on an innovative study to help prioritize active transportation projects (like the bike path in the photo). The (EDCTC) Active Transportation (Connections Study) will provide a detailed analysis and determine which active transportation projects in El Dorado County would get the most use with the limited funds that are available for these type of projects. The El Dorado County Transportation Commission (EDCTC) has prepared a survey which will be used to inform Active Transportation Planning in Western El Dorado County. To take the survey, Click Here.
