Produce a rough draft of a college
entrance essay in just two hours! Using
essay preparation materials from
the University of California system as a
guide, you will:
• Brainstorm topic ideas for your essay
• Practice reflecting on your life experi -
ences in order to identify elements to
include in your essay
• Learn proper essay organization and
structure
• Practice using college-level grammar,
vocabulary, and punctuation

be great, but have no time to apply for
them? Learn how to find scholarships
and apply for them in the quickest, most
efficient way! There’s free money available
for college – you just have to know how
to find it! Student in grades 6th – 12 along
with a parent are encouraged to attend.
We’ll cover the following topics:
• Why scholarships are a great way to pay
for college
• The types of scholarships offered and the
organizations offering them
• How and where to look for scholarships
• Hints and tips for completing applications

This two-day course includes the information
and skills necessary to provide
safe and responsible care for children.
Participants will develop skills in interviewing,
accident prevention, care for
medical emergencies and basic child
care. An ASHI certificate will be issued
upon completion of class.

Ages 12 - 17
Bake and decorate beautiful themed cookies! Learn to make cookie dough (roll and
cutout), icing, and develop skills in outlining and filling cookies with royal icing.
Each class has a different seasonal theme. Students will take home their decorated
cookies along with a gift bag filled with recipes, notes, tips and a cookie cutter.
Please bring a $12 material fee to the instructor at class.

then improv is JAZZ! Learn how to
be funny without trying, make up stories
on the spot. This class is the most fun
you’ll ever have! Through improv games
you can improve your technique, acting
skills, and create a whole new way to
build character development.
