Volunteer Opportunities

Promontory Community Park

Earth Day Celebration

Over 150 volunteers from our community pitched in on Saturday, April 21st at Promontory Park to plant 20 trees, and to spread 300 yards of bark in the beds throughout the park.  Trees were planted around the new bocce ball courts, around the softball fields, and on the slope near the spray park.  The CSD would like to thank all of the hard working volunteers who spent their day making El Dorado Hills a better place to live and play!

Volunteers Wanted at the Gilmore Center

The Gilmore Senior Center is looking for volunteers to serve at the Welcome Desk as greeters and receptionists - answering phones, directing people to programs, providing information about recreation activities and resources in the community. Volunteering is a great way to make new friends and serve your community. Days and hours are flexible. Volunteer applications are available at the Gilmore Center or can be downloaded here and training will be provided to all new volunteers.
